During Christmastime, it's all about the cookies; for New Year, it's everything classy. Champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, truffles, small (and unsatisfying) savory bites … give me a break. On December 31st, just because you're wearing sequins doesn't mean you can't indulge in the treats you love. I know you still want cookies!

I'll give you something even better: COOKIE DOUGH. It's eggless, filled with rainbow sprinkles and tastes better than Toll House. You'll want to eat it by the spoonful (and I wouldn't judge you if you did), but in the spirit of NYE and your fire outfit, you should turn the dough into disco truffles. What makes them disco? Edible metallic dust! Aka pretty shimmery sh!t that's safe to eat.

To make the truffles, whip up the cookie dough, roll it into balls, and freeze them for about an hour. Stir some coconut oil into melted chocolate (the mixture is basically like magic shell), toss the cookie dough balls in the chocolate then sprinkle them immediately with all the gold and silver edible dust your heart desires. The shimmer makes them look gorgeous, but they're still funky and overly decadent at heart.
