There's lots of great winter foods, but I gotta admit, sometimes I really miss summer fare. Caprese salads, watermelon, barbecue, and of course, ICE CREAM! Honestly, just because it's cold out, why should we abstain from foods that make us happy? My New Years resolution is to eat more ice cream year 'round, and by golly I'm gonna start with this sparkling one!

This glittery treat is the perfect thing to serve at a New Years party, and it's super easy, so you can spend the bulk of your party prep time blowing up balloons and hanging streamers in your apartment. This ice cream uses our basic no-churn base: heavy cream whipped into stiff peaks, then combined with sweetened condensed milk.

For flavorings, we went festive with a splash of Champagne (or Prosecco, if you prefer) and a squeeze of honey for a little extra sweetness. Fold it all together until smooth and spread it into a loaf pan. Garnish with your favorite sparkly sanding sugar and some candy stars if you've got 'em! Pop it in the freezer and in a few hours, you've got a festive treat that you can enjoy any season.
