It's hard to believe it but this year is finally coming to an end. Oh, what a crazy year it has been! Personally I'm happy to see it go and am excited for things to come in 2018. What better way to celebrate than with a New Years Eve party?

These little fortune cookies are the perfect party favor to ring in the new year with. They take about 5 minutes to throw together, but they're impossibly adorable. In fact, the most labor intensive part is probably unwrapping the actual cookies!

When all the cookies have been unwrapped, melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowls. We chose white and semi-sweet chips but feel free to stick with your favorite type. Dip each cookie halfway in chocolate and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Next is the fun part — decorating! We chose gold and silver sprinkles, plus some colorful nonpareils and jimmies. Place them in the refrigerator to harden and you'll have good luck cookies in no time. More fun to crack open then confetti poppers, and more fun to eat too!
